Now a little bit of news regarding the Club Websites. As you may recall we now have two ‘website assistants’ helping me with updating and maintaining the club’s two websites. So, Doug Perry has been busily adding a new section to the Club website titled “News”. You can see it here https://crashboxclub.co.uk/index.php/newsletters

Not only does it include these Newsletters but also reports on recent club events plus a page for the wonderful feedback we received following this year’s Historic Vehicle Gathering. And to compliment this section a number of new photos have been added to the ‘Photos’ page here https://crashboxclub.co.uk/index.php/photos/january-to-may-2019

The ‘Historic Vehicle Gathering’ website which is under the care of Steve Dinsdale is still to be updated in preparation for the 2020 show.

We hope to include some videos of this year’s event so have been experimenting with that idea. But you might like to watch this one on You Tube. It gives a lovely reminder of that highly successful weekend in July. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6SZHbZAFb8&t=59s  But to use it on the website we really need the permission of the ‘owner’ but so far, I’ve not been able to get in contact with them.

I mention the websites which are now in the very capable hands of Steve & Doug as I have decided that I wish to step down from ALL my CBCCC ‘duties’ so this is my last Newsletter. Others I’m sure will pick up the baton but for various reasons have decided that I need to move on so will finish at the October committee meeting. Thank you for all your support and help over the last 20 years.

Kind regards

Steve Day
